Initial Client Problem

One of TeknoFluida’s hydroelectric power plant clients in West Java faced a critical issue involving an accumulator leak, oil contamination, and pump pressure drops. The plant used ISO VG 46 oil, aiming for a cleanliness level of 17/15/12 per ISO 4406 standards.

Our Solution

To resolve this, TeknoFluida implemented a two-stage oil purification process using the DS-25 unit. The first stage treated oil in a temporary storage tank, improving cleanliness from 21/20/14 to 16/13/8 and reducing water content from 67% to 1.2%. The second stage focused on the HPU Sumptank, completing a 16-hour purification cycle and achieving a final cleanliness level of 16/13/9, surpassing the target standard.
